STORY OF THE BIKE/BUILD FROM THE OWNERS, DR. AJ LATHBURY AND KELLY LATHBURY:
Long journey. Been riding motorcycles on dirt or street for over 55 years. Started paying attention to baggers in 2004 when took sight of 3 incredible baggers that I kept seeing around during Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Just could not get the look out of my mind. Took pictures and became fixated on the Chopp Shop builds by Shannon Davidson because of his vision and artistic ability. Really started paying attention to all baggers. Thank goodness for a supportive wife. After much research and procrastination, met with Shannon Davidson and Nick Beck. Finally sold the Bourget Springer Fatdaddy and a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail and took the plunge into a custom bagger. Once I met Nick Beck of Renegade Custom Cycles, the path forward was inevitable. Nick’s honesty, integrity and passion for motorcycles instantaneously was apparent. He builds a great bike and made the process seamless as possible. Nick’s Build & Shannon’s Paint working together was the best of both worlds. There is no doubt when it comes time for the next one, Nick Beck and Renegade Custom Cycles will be my first call.
